Although wedding favors may not be the highlight of the wedding, they are a detail which requires some thought and planning. Ideas for treats are generally plentiful so there are bound to be enough to suit your budget and taste. Favors do not have to be stressful part of organizing the special day when there are other more important things that require your time.
Flowers are undoubtedly one easy wedding favor you can give to your guests. The preparation for flowers is almost non existent other than deciding on what flowers to use which can be ordered reasonably close to the big day.
You might consider giving your guests a single red rose as a favor and this is extremely appropriate because a rose is a symbol of love plus roses do not need to be wrapped. You can simply purchase one for each guest and have a member of the catering staff, a friend or family member place one rose across each place setting after the tables have been set for the wedding reception.
Although candy might be an easy wedding favor, it is immensely popular and with almost three out of every four weddings using it, often placed in a specially designed box. However, there is an even easier way to give candy and also help you to save money on centerpieces. This method has been taken from an idea used by families at Christmas and uses a large glass bowl filled with different types of candy.
You can then provide each wedding guest with a small bag and a note encouraging them to enjoy the candy in the centerpiece. Your guests will fill up the presentation containers with the candy in the centerpieces making this an extremely convenient gift which does not involve any wrapping.
To give your guests something they can keep why not leave a small picture frame on the table. The only problem with giving photo or picture frames as a wedding favor is when you have to wrap each picture frame individually. However, by using the picture frames to hold the place cards, you do not have to worry about wrapping them for your guests.
For those of you that like an easy wedding favor that is a little different then why not use a local photographer, you can have each guest pose for a shot which can be presented to them at the wedding reception. So to make sure each guest leaves with their photo, the photographer could take along a fast digital printer then they could be printed out whilst the guests are enjoying the reception. As most wedding photographs are in groups, a photograph with just one couple at a time showing them at their best would be a welcomed wedding favor. If the photographer can arrange a slide show, the guests not only get a personal memento but they also get the opportunity to see how the photos turned out for all of the other guests as well.
